Presley Funeral Home History
In December, 2012, Bryant and Seth Presley, (Father and Son) purchased Cookeville Funeral Home.
There is an old saying, "People don't care how much you know, until they know how much you care". Our family goal is to serve our friends and family, exceeding their expectations in excellence and service, "Because We Care"!
Tommy Harris:
Tommy Harris answered God's call to be a minister over twenty-five years ago. Accepting Gods call I knew the Lord was calling me to be His servant not only in the church I serve but also in the community. After much prayer and planning I decided a good way to witness to people out side the church was to do some type of public service. I decided to own and operate a funeral home.
Owning real estate in Putnam County I decided the best way to be a servant of God and having the ability of understanding peoples needs, compassion for hurting families and prior business experience, I built "Cookeville Funeral Home." Construction began in 2000 and we opened our doors for business in March 2001. I am proud to say that a lot of the interior work was done by me, my family and friends.
In our first week of operation we received our first death call. God has really blessed us and we continue serving Him through our devotion to families who have lost loved ones.
We are committed to families and our goal is to treat you like family and to meet your needs during this difficult time.
Whether we have served you in the past or will serve you in the future we continue to strive for excellence in our service to our families and community.
Tommy Harris
