Funeral Services for Terry "Red" Edward Smith, age 55, will be held on Wednesday, March 10, 2010, from the chapel of Cookeville Funeral Home with interment in the New Home Cemetery in Baxter, TN.  The family will receive friends, at the funeral home, on Tuesday, March 9, 2010, from 4-8:00 pm and on Wednesday, March 10, 2010, from 9:00 am until time for the service. 

Mr. Smith passed away on Sunday, March 7, 2010, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center.

He was born December 17, 1954, in Putnam County, TN to the late Charles & Vada Thompson Smith.

Mr. Smith was self-employed as a painter and of the Church of Christ faith.

He is survived by his wife: Brenda Hampton Jones of Baxter, a son: Jamie Dunn of TN, Step-children: Beverly Stephens & Chris Jones both of Cookeville, & Sara Parrish of Sparta.  Two brothers: Larry Dale & Renee Smith & James Ray Smith both of Baxter.  Four sisters: Linda Sue Stewart of Baxter, Patricia & Steve Denson of Baxter, Sharon Long of Baxter, & Brenda & Kenneth Lane of Bloomington Springs, TN.  Nine Grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews. 

Mr. Smith was preceded in death by his parents, a brother: Billy Joe Smith and three sisters: Wilma Lewis, Diana Smith, & Peggy Marie Smith.

Pall Bearers will be family and friends.

Bro. John Pippin will officiate at the services.
